Even those with dry skin can experience sticky skin, especially in the T-zone, during summer when sweat and sebum secretion are more active. This powder prevents a sticky feeling and doesn’t accentuate the appearance of pores.
The main ingredient is kaolin, which has excellent sebum adsorption properties. This is a must-have product when your concern is keeping your makeup fresh and clean as long as possible. The weightless and fine powder also reduces the appearance of textures on the surface of the skin and improves foundation application. It also prevents other products from getting collected in pores which leads to more visible pores.

This powder can be used to prevent pores from getting larger. Sebum is often considered negative because it makes your face sticky and breaks down makeup. But it is essential for beautiful skin. In fact, moderate sebum is superior to any luxury cream in keeping skin moisturized and hydrated. Excess sebum, however, can cause makeup to break down, leaving the skin feeling sticky, greasy, and shiny. Furthermore, persistent excess sebum can lead to enlarged pores. Many people with oily skin as well as those with dry skin find their T-zone sticky in the summer and pores on the nose become or at least seem larger. MiMC’s Mineral Oil Control is a one-step-ahead formulation that not only keeps the skin surface smooth, eliminates stickiness and shine, prevents makeup from breaking down, and makes pores look less noticeable but also takes ‘countermeasures against future pore concerns’ into consideration.
It does not include oils that could further enlarge pores. Oil has the characteristic of smoothing the skin, which means it loosens the skin. In other words, excessive sebum on the surface of pores tends to loosen pores. If excess sebum is left on top of pores, it can adhere to dirt in the air, gradually making pores darker and more noticeable. This can lead to unwanted texture, shine, acne, and rough skin. MiMC Mineral Oil Control contains no oil. Kaolin in the ingredients adsorbs excess sebum while keeping the skin moisturized and preventing pores from loosening due to excess sebum.
